Thanks for your interest in the West Highland White Terrier Club of Greater Atlanta, Inc.

We are the only American Kennel Club (AKC) sanctioned westie breed club in the Atlanta area and we would really enjoy getting to know you and your furry white companions!

If you have wondered about grooming, flea control, conditioning, health issues, training, showing, nutrition, or any other issue, the Westie Club is for you!

If you enjoy meeting new people and sharing photos and stories of your "best friend", the Westie Club is for you!

If you want to help keep our dogs out of the pound, breed your Westie, or learn more about showing or competing in terrier or obedience trials, the Westie Club is for you!

The history of the club goes back over twenty years promoting the following objectives:

To encourage and promote quality in breeding of purebred West Highland White Terriers, and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.

To urge members and breeders to accept the standard fo the breed as approved by the American Kennel Club (AKC - Westie) as the only standard of excellance by which Westies shall be judged.

To do all in its power to protect and advance the interest of the breed by encouraging sportman-like competition at dog shows and obedience trails.

To conduct sanctioned and licensed shows, hunting and obedience trials under the rules of the American Kennel Club.
