Penny
Penny came into our rescue program from Scotty Rescue. In response to a multiple dog surrender,
the Scotty Rescue group rescued Penny, and contacted us while the group was busy with Destiny's
Dozen.
Penny's neglected situation made it the Baker's dozen. Her immediate medical needs required repair of
a hernia and medication and antibiotics for a terrible skin problem. The skin problem required
a special Venison and Potato diet and months of care from a foster volunteer to nurse and groom her
coat. She also was very shy, obviously having had little human interaction.
Penny has recently been placed in a loving home which has made the effort to help her rewarding for
the whole rescue team.
