When You See One?

Test Yourself!

Sometimes people think that all rescues are downtrodden and riddled with impossible to cure health problems. While some rescues are, this certainly does not apply to all. Below are pictures of Westies who were rescued and Westies who have been with the same human from puppyhood. Study the pictures below and chose the ones that you believe to be rescues. When you have made your selection, scroll down to see the answer!

And the answer is ...

Depicted in the picture above are the Voight Westies. The three Westies to the left are all rescues: Katie (5-6 yrs old) Karma (2 1/2 yrs old) and Tara (9 yrs old). The Westie to the right is not a rescue.

And the answer is ...

Depicted in the picture above are P.J. Shaw's Westies. The Westie on the left is Kensie (from Dana Hall, a renowned breeder of Westies). The Westie to the right is Bailey, who was rescued from the Williamson Count Animal Control nine years ago in Tennessee.
